Our trip to the Mayflower Theatre to see Matilda the Musical was a fantastic experience for our Year 3 children. The performance was full of energy, memorable songs, and brilliant acting, bringing the story to life in a way that truly engaged everyone. 

As part of preparing for their Year 4 writing and reading units on Matilda, the trip provided a wonderful introduction to the story and its characters. 

The children represented the school beautifully throughout the visit, and it was especially lovely to hear a member of the public comment on how well-behaved and respectful they were.
