Year 6 Residential – Tuesday - Our First Full Day!

After a good night’s sleep, everyone woke up refreshed and ready for their first full day of adventure! The excitement was still in the air this morning and after a delicious, hearty breakfast, we had all the energy we needed for a busy day ahead.

The morning was packed with exciting activities. Two groups took on the challenge of climbing and abseiling, while the other three groups enjoyed testing their skills in archery before tackling the assault course. Throughout the morning, the children demonstrated fantastic resilience, encouraged one another and gave every activity their best effort. We were incredibly proud of the positive attitudes and teamwork shown by everyone.

After a well-earned lunch, it was time to pull on our wetsuits and head down to the beach for an afternoon of surfing and bodyboarding. The children had a brilliant time catching waves, building their confidence in the water and enjoying every moment in the sea.

Following an action-packed afternoon, we enjoyed a delicious dinner before rounding off the day with the much-anticipated disco. The dance floor was full from start to finish, with everyone enjoying the music, showing off their dance moves and spending time with their friends. It was a fantastic way to end another memorable day together.

After such a fun-filled day, we are all looking forward to another exciting day of activities tomorrow. We can’t wait to see what new adventures await us!
