Last week, our school had the extraordinary opportunity to host a live question-and-answer session with the renowned author Frank Cottrell Boyce. Best known for his award-winning novels like Millions, Cosmic, and The Astounding Broccoli Boy, Frank captivated students and staff alike with his warmth, humor, and insights into the world of storytelling. During the session, he shared stories about his creative journey, revealing how his love for reading and curiosity about the world inspired his writing. He emphasized the importance of finding joy in stories and encouraged students to view the world through a lens of wonder and imagination.  

The highlight of the event was the lively interaction between Frank and our students, who came prepared with thoughtful and enthusiastic questions. From exploring how he develops his unforgettable characters to discussing the challenges of adapting stories for the screen, Frank answered each question with genuine enthusiasm and wit. Students left the session inspired, with many expressing a newfound motivation to read, write, and share their own stories. It was a truly memorable experience that reminded everyone of the power of creativity and the magic of storytelling.
