Tag Rugby Y3 & Y4:

Our Year 3 and 4 children had a fantastic time taking part in a partnership tag rugby event with Mansel Park Primary and Nursery and Sinclair Primary and Nursery Schools.

Tag rugby has been a key part of the children’s PE learning this half term, giving them the opportunity to develop their passing, agility, teamwork and spatial awareness. The children have worked hard to build their confidence, improve their skills and understand the decision making with this invasion game. The tournament was a wonderful opportunity to put everything they have learnt into practice as well as an opportunity to experience this game in a more competitive environment!

Holy Family played brilliantly, winning both of their games! We were especially proud of the excellent sportsmanship shown by all our players, who represented our school wonderfully. 

A huge well done to everyone who took part, and thank you to Mansel Park and Sinclair for joining us for such an enjoyable sporting event.

We are already looking forward to our next partnership sporting event, which will be netball next half term!
