Sport:
On Tuesday, eight children from Years 5 and 6 proudly represented Holy Family at the Southampton QuadKids Athletics event.
This year's competition was different from previous years, as every participant was required to take part in all five events. This presented an extra challenge for the children, who had to demonstrate a wide range of athletic skills, determination and endurance throughout the day.
All eight children were a real credit to Holy Family. They showed excellent sportsmanship, resilience and a positive attitude in every event, supporting one another and giving their very best effort from start to finish.
The standard of competition was extremely high, and we are delighted to share that Holy Family finished in an impressive 9th place out of 20 schools. We even had some children be awarded with UKA Quadkids awards in Bronze, Silver and Gold across the events for these high performances!
It was a fantastic day filled with teamwork, perseverance, and achievement. We are incredibly proud of all the children for the way they represented our school and congratulate them on their wonderful performance. Well done to Gabriel, Nathan, Jacob, Gowtham, Esther, Tehillah, Sammy and Pola for your fantastic efforts in training and performing on the day!
