Year 6 Devon Adventure:
Day 4
All the children were up and rearing to go this morning for their last full day of activity.
After filling ourselves up with breakfast, it was time for our first activities of the day. Some groups ventured into the purpose built tunnel system, navigating their way through tunnels of varying sizes, encouraging each other through. The children were all incredibly proud of how hard they pushed themselves out of their comfort zones with this activity. During this time, others were tackling the assault course, where they had to work as a team to progress along the varying challenges. They worked brilliantly as a team to ensure they were all successful.
After lunch some groups went surfing in the gorgeous sunshine, with many children managing to stand up on their boards. During this time the other groups headed down to the head to play some games and take part in some healthy competition.
After an amazing dinner of a BBQ, all the groups joined together to take part in some wide games. The children took part in different ball games, races involving cones and life vests, as well as a challenge to see who could make the longest chain using coats, shoes, jumpers and their bodies.
