Blue Peter Book Club

Our Reading Ambassadors 'Blue Peter Book Club' has started with a bang today! Our librarians read extracts from the story "Michael, the Amazing Mind Reading Sausage Dog"  to pupils in the library, to enjoy together.

We found out that Michael came from the small town of Snuffles-by-Sea, and that he was inspired by Susan the Chocolate Labrador who had won a local talent show by balancing peanuts on her nose! We also learned that Michael could read the minds of other dogs and find out what they were thinking - including Stanley Big Dog!

We can't wait to find out what happens next, at next week's session! A big well done to our Reading Ambassadors for sharing the story with their peers and promoting a love of reading!
