Year 6 Devon Adventure:

Day 2

After a quiet night, the enthusiastic Year 6s leapt out of bed bright and early and tucked into a delicious cooked breakfast to  load up for the exciting day ahead.

In the morning some of us tried out the  climbing wall and those brave souls who made it to the top then abseiled down! Super stuff from our intrepid climbers who pushed themselves to go higher than they thought they could and everyone felt an amazing sense of achievement! Meanwhile the rest of the Holy Family groups were busy challenging themselves by finding their way through the tunnels in the dark. They even played a game of sardines while crawling about in the purpose built unit. To build on their triumph they then built up their team skills by tackling the assault course!

In the afternoon merriment ensued as we all attempted to don wetsuits - many for the first time ever - but we did it! Our reward? An epic time kayaking or surfing - without rain!! Even Miss Hendricks had a go in the surf!

And how did we end the day? DISCO of course.
