Year 6 Devon Blog - Day 1

Day 1
The children enjoyed a lovely coach trip that got us to Skern Lodge at half past one.
They all then had a few minutes to get rid of bags and find where their home was going to be for the week before starting off on their first activity.

Children enjoyed beach games and climbing/ abseiling before devouring the evening meal. It was great to see children overcoming initial anxieties around the climbing wall and also watch them immerse them selfs with the beach setting.
Everybody then joined in together for the evening activity doing a scavenger hunt around the site. A great way to build some teamwork and explore our new setting for the week.

We are all up nice and early this morning to fill up on breakfast before starting our morning activities. A day two blog post will be uploaded tomorrow.
