Year 6 blog:
Our Year 6 children recently visited the University of Southampton to celebrate completing the Books and Stories and Shapes and Numbers programmes.
The children took part in a special graduation ceremony, where they proudly wore graduation gowns and collected their certificates and prizes in the university lecture hall. It was a fantastic opportunity for them to celebrate all of their hard work and achievements.
As part of the day, the children also enjoyed an exciting science show about global warming and climate change. With lots of smoke, bangs and explosions, the spectacular demonstrations certainly captured everyone's attention while teaching them about important environmental issues.
To top off a wonderful day, the children were treated to a celebratory ice cream before heading home. We are incredibly proud of our Year 6 pupils who took part and all they have achieved!
