Fairy tales - Year 4

In year 4 this term we have been enjoying exploring fairy tales and re-writing them from an alternative perspective. We have also developed our understanding of measuring length and capacity through practical problem solving and application. In science, we have been investigating solids, liquids and gases, linking it to our knowledge of the water cycle. This has fed into our geography learning on rivers, where we will be discovering more about our local rivers in Southampton over the rest of the half term. Our special event, World Book Day was a hit like always and we are really looking forward to our music showcase at the end of term!
