The Reading Ambassadors are leading the way!

A huge well done to our Reading Ambassadors who delivered a brilliant presentation during the final celebration assembly of last half term. Speaking in front of the whole school can be daunting, but they were confident, clear and shared a powerful message: reading matters.

They reminded us that reading supports progress in every subject and that building strong reading habits in primary school lays the foundation for success in secondary school and beyond. Consistency is key and we’d like to thank every child who reads regularly, both at home and during lunchtimes. The love of reading across Holy Family is clear to see.

Blue Peter badge applications continue to grow and the Ambassadors also introduced an exciting new poetry competition that will take place next year. We can’t wait to see the creativity it inspires!
