E-Cadets:

Are you ready for: lights, camera and action? Our Year 5 and 6 E-Cadets have been working incredibly hard on an exciting and important project all about blue light awareness.

Over the past few weeks, the E-Cadets have researched what blue light is, where it comes from, and how it can affect our health and wellbeing. Using their findings, they carefully planned and wrote a detailed script to help educate others about the topic.

The E-Cadets then took on the role of filmmakers, working together to create and record a purposeful video designed to share their knowledge with the whole school community. They demonstrated fantastic teamwork, creativity, communication skills, and dedication throughout the project.

Once their video was complete, the E-Cadets visited classrooms across the school to talk about blue light and explain why it is important to be mindful of the amount of time we spend looking at screens. They confidently shared helpful tips and encouraged pupils to develop healthy digital habits.

We are extremely proud of how much effort the E-Cadets have put into this topic. Their enthusiasm, research skills, and commitment to helping others learn have been outstanding. The children showed great maturity when presenting to different year groups and were excellent ambassadors for online safety and digital wellbeing.

We hope that everyone in our school community enjoys watching the video and finds it both informative and useful. A huge well done to all of our Year 5/6 E-Cadets for their hard work and for helping to spread such an important message!
