Year R Parent and Child Workshop

This week parents and pupils and read the book "Tisp's Map" together! We came across words to sound out and blend such as 'map', 'Dad', 'Nan', 'tip', 'and' and 'in'.

We also practised our 'Earth Words' - I, the, to, no and go! Earth Words are words that we cannot sound out in full, just yet, as we don't know the whole code!

After reading together, pupils and parents worked together to make their own cars, just like Tisp's car in the story! Aren't they fabulous?
